On friday, february 23th, students and staff visited the rubin museum of art, an art and cultural hub in chelsea focused on bridging contemporary life and the art and concepts of the himalayas and neighboring regions.columbia students were given insights into internship opportunities and given a private tour of the museum. Museum admission is free every friday night from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. There’s good karma here at this lovely museum featuring sculptures, incredible embroidered works, jewelry and other artwork from the himalayas, india and elsewhere in southeast asia.
